Backhaul is cellular where a measured signal exists at that specific coordinate rather than where a coverage map promises one, using external directional antennas, with long range point to point wireless links or fiber where a trench is already open between the substation and the operations building. Auxiliary power tapped from station service is used at the substation, the inverter pads, and the main gate where it is genuinely available.
